Who to vote for if you have no one to vote for?

None of the issues that really matter are up for debate; what you're witnessing is a public spectacle with the power to choose a face for the history books. Do you honestly think people in power would give the dis-empowered masses an easy way to take that power for themselves? Not participating in this democratic process -- this glorious chance to pick the wallpaper -- is not the same as apathy. In the words of REM, there is such a thing as "withdrawal in disgust". You can express your values, and participate, in other more meaningful ways.

Also, don't join the military; flee the country if you have to. The warmachine just gets people killed, who were better off alive. Last time I was in a synagogue, I realized the incredible irony of wishing the soldiers in Israel luck, and then immediately following this with Isaiah 2:4.
