Family is out and looks like we are adopting - Adoption.com Forums

Well, as always, I don't know how it is in your state...but, here, we just signed our sub agreement and they will send it for approval...then give us a copy and that adoption worker the original...and he is putting together the post placement reports and paperwork for the attorney packet...at which point, the atty sends us docs, we sign them, get them back and we are on our way to adoption day (which is November 17th for us, too!)

As to the OA, here, if the parents didn't sign an OA prior to relinquishing rights, there won't be one. It has to be *before* they relinquish. The goodbye visit could happen at any time, I think...

Congrats! It is very exciting, isn't it? Looks like both of our families are on our way to National Adoption Day! =D
