NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - The South Carolina Stingrays will keep their traditional hockey sweaters in the locker room this Friday and instead wear something a little more collegiate.
Friday is College Pride Night at the North Charleston Coliseum, and the Stingrays will show their pride by wearing special University of South Carolina hockey sweaters. The team will be decked out in garnet and black when they take on the Trenton Titans at 7:05 p.m.
As part of the promotion, guests who wear a shirt showing off their favorite college or show their college ID will get in for $5.
The Gamecock jerseys will be auctioned off live following the game.
